*Personality: Cael is somewhat quiet, known to have a straight face in even the most comical situations. This is due to the fact that he is not the brightest crayon in the box when it comes to social matters. Often times, he won't understand innuendos or jokes that aren't the most blunt. Though he is not socially awkward, he still is no social butterfly. He treats everyone with high respect, and always as equals. Cael prefers to be alone most of the time because of this, and would rather talk to someone one-on-one rather than be in a crowd.

Cael is often seen as a loyal guard dog. He is protective over his friends and allies, and will do whatever it takes to protect them. More so, he will always hold the safety of Kanbo, his contract, above his own, as he has promised to protect her as they set out to find the key.



Likes/Dislikes:

EDUCATIONAL: Politics, history, military/war, guns, combat, and a bit of math/chemistry here and there.

SOCIAL: Females; preferably light haired and small in size, enjoys local coffee shops, small gatherings, and prefers talking to people one-on-one. He also would rather talk than text/IM (in fact, he's fairly slow at texting and typing anyways). Fairly old fashioned. Is fairly tolerable of people of all personalities, though gets uncomfortable with touch-y feel-y people or overemotional individuals.

FOOD: Coffee (but only with cocoa), cheesecakes, bagels, many local and exotic fruits (dislikes veggies, though), soups, whole grain and rice, and cookies. He dislikes most things deep fried and fast food. Will not eat anything too cold (like Ice cream, slushies) or anything fairly cheesy (nachos, mac n' cheese).

- Being able to remain completely oblivious to any sort of hints that happen to be given to him.


*Bio: Cael grew up in a small house hold, his father the Mayor of Chota, a small suburb of Cauraha City, his mother a strong, independent, anti-political woman. How the two ever got together was a mystery, but it wasn't long until the friction and indifference moved upon their relationship.

Cael's mother was strong and highly independent, refusing to marry for the sake of having her own identity. Being an ultra feminist, she insisted her son be brought up with both his mother and his father's last names. And so, he did. She raised him to have a high sense of equality, building it in his mind that women were his equal. She told him constantly to always treat women with high respect, and to always treat women like they are just as mighty. His mother established Cael's strong sense of justice and equality.

His mother couldn't stay with to the town mayor, who's political tastes didn't work well with her. His father was pro-life, a man that believed every person deserved a chance, often teaching Cael simple lessons on how the strong had to fight for the weak, how the able had to fight for the ones who could not help themselves. His mother; pro-choice, believing that every person had the right to mark their own path, make their own decisions. His father a conservative, his mother, liberal. In the end, the opposites could not stay attracted. So, being the independent woman she was, with no legal marriage to bound her, she left. Grabbed her suitcase and left for her own dreams.

Because he had spent so much time with his mother, Cael found it difficult growing up with his father. His father was always old fashioned, and while his mother taught Cael to see everyone as equals, his father saw Cael as a son that had to treat his father as superior, higher up. As he grew up, he became distant to his father, not openly rebelling but simply taking all his words with a grain of salt. He never questioned the whereabouts of his mother, nor did he hold anything against her or his father. While he was curious, he never took anything as an invitation to investigate. Instead, he focused his time on spending time alone, climbing trees and adventuring, or at a local weapons shop owned by a family friend he called Uncle Samuel. It was there he took interest in weapons, guns specifically, and his Uncle Samuel happily taught him how to use them.

As he grew older, he realized that a perfect career was out of question. He suffered in school, as his mind was just never built to retain details and information in a way the school system demanded. He dropped out of college in his first year when he was 19, thinking to join the military and become a mercenary instead of following the path of his father into politics. Facing a dead end, he moved to Cauraha City and started working as a server for Phillipa's Cuisine, as he payed for his small apartment rent and looked for other opportunities. Eventually, that came. That opportunity was Kanbo.

While working one day, he heard a ruckus outside the restaurant. Running outside, he saw Kanbo fighting off two Pandemonians, and jumped in to help her. They escaped together, but it wasn't for long until more were back to finish them off. In the situation, they contracted, giving Cael powers and boosting Kanbos. They have been together since, Cael going out to help Kanbo and protect her in their search for the Key.




Trivia:

- No one knows why or low long Cael has hidden his eye. Some say he was born blind, others say there's a giant scar on his face from a freak accident. Either way, it remains a mystery.
- He also highly, HIGHLY dislikes whenever someone mentions his eye or bandanna, and will not discuss it at all. If questions are asked about this, he will make an irritated subject change, or ignore it completely.
- Cael is actually quite fond of cats.
- He can somewhat cook, as he has lived by himself while working at a restaurant for a number of years, but his food is just "eh".

*Powers: ICE MANIPULATION: Cael is able to do a variety of things with his association with Ice and the Cold. He tends to shoot bullets of ice out of his guns. Cael can create snow storms and blizzards on the battlefield, as well as large, deathly sharp icicles that shoot at the enemy.

Battling Style: Cael takes hold of the situation, trying to control and direct the enemy towards him as much as possible. If the enemy is attacking an ally, he quickly tries to distract the enemy while the ally gets away or counterattacks. He makes his moves quick and precise, using each bullet and move intellectually and sparingly. He is well rounded and prepared for any situation, and in the moment where he is losing, he will get his allies to vacate and escape while he takes the rest of the hits, preparing to sacrifice himself if need be.
